Disciplinary Aspects
Every student shall reach the school premises before the first bell. Those who come early are expected to sit in their class rooms and learn their lessons till the teacher comes to the class. No student can leave the school premises during the school h o u r s without the permission of the Principal.
Untidy clothes torn and unpolished shoes, rubber slippers etc. will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Boys should have a short haircut. Fashionable haircut and hair coloring are not permitted.
Girls should neatly braid their hair on both sides.
Students should not wear jewellery or other fashionable ornaments, including anklets.
Students shall be responsible for the safe custody of their belongings – money, books etc.
English should be used by the staff and students at all times, within the School Campus.
Students should be very careful not to throw paper seeds etc., on the floor, sunshade, on the premises or in the compound. Waste paper baskets should be used for that purpose.
Playing in classrooms and on corridors is strictly prohibited.
Students from one class are not allowed to enter the other classrooms.
Students shall keep silence and walk in single line when passing through the corridors, during class hours. No shouting or running or whistling is allowed in the classrooms. While climbing up and down the stair the rule is “KEEP LEFT”.
Any damage or loss to the school property or that of other students should be repaired by the respective student who causes it.
Home exercises shall be done regularly and carefully and should be submitted at the appointed time.
Books, magazines newspapers, notices, pen drives CDs, DVDs, iPods, mobile phones, cameras, Tablet, Laptop, CD-DVD players, memory card etc. from outside should not be brought and circulated among students without the permission of the Principal.
After each period, the class leader should see that order and silence are maintained in the class room. If the teacher does not arrive within three minutes, the leader should inform the matter to the Principal / Administrative Office.
Visitors are not allowed to see students during class hours.
Students shall read news papers daily and note down the important news.
Parents are not allowed to walk into the classrooms. The parents who wish to contact the teachers about t h e p ro g re s s o f t h e i r c h i l d re n s h a l l g e t t h e permission of the Principal, or in his absence, of the Vice-Principal.
No collection in cash or kind shall be taken and no meeting, party or picnic or any kind of organized school activity shall be arranged without the previous permission of the Principal.
The Handbook issued to every student at the beginning of the year is to be kept intact and neat all through the year and brought to school every day. It is the means of communication for the school authorities and staff with the parents about the child. At the same time it is the important document of the student’s career and conduct at school.
Each and every student should endeavour to keep high the refined tone of the school by excelling in good manners and deportment.
